Title How Mobile Stacks Up to Traditional Online: A Comparison of Studies
Year 2013
Access date 31.10.2013
Abstract

Market researchers globally are embracing mobile surveys in rapidly growing numbers. We know that mobile studies command a premium price to online studies, but do they deliver equally high value? Through extensive review of several of our most recent and insightful case studies, Research Now Mobile will illustrate how mobile surveys stack up to traditional online; and further, how results from studies conducted with panel, river sample, social media and mobile data collection compare and contrast. Our research on research shows what you can expect from multi-modal projects.
Learn the do’s and don’ts of fielding valid and reliable mobile surveys through review of a collection of case studies fielded to thousands of consumers.
Specifically, this session will address:
How concept scores, sample representativeness, satisfaction ratings and response rates compare across different modes.
The various benefits clients will achieve through mobile studies versus online studies.
How question types used in one mode translate into others (slider scales versus radio buttons, for example).
Best practices for invites on mobile devices (i.e. e-mail, SMS text, push notifications, etc.).
